Day 16 – a song that makes you cry (or nearly)

day 16 - this song always gets me teared up! It reminds me how grateful I am for my parents with all of their love and support, particulary while I struggled through college. Now that I'm all grown up, married and making it on my own with my husband I can't help but know their encouragement is what got me through it all. And there I go getting teared up again!

And one of my current favorites is Tightrope by Janelle Monae -  totally gets me dancing every time I hear it and this girl is SERIOUSLY talented!

Our Playlist

At the very last minute, husband and I decided an I-POD and sound system was the best way to go for our reception. My boss (yeah, we're homies) saved the day and played as "DJ" for us. I gave him a random list of artists and told him we like classic rock, along with some John Mayer-type stuff and like a rock star, he came up with a playlist. Talk about some major stress off of my shoulders! Today, he and his wife emailed me the compiled list of songs that were played at our wedding and maybe you can find this helpful for your own!
